Operations Supervisor

Application Link Apply to this link: Role Overview The Operations Supervisor is responsible for strategic operational decisions within the division related to facilities, fleet, purchasing, forecasting, operational management, and vendor relationships. This position supervises staff responsible for day‑to‑day operations ensuring all operational activities are completed, payments reconciled, and transactions aligned with available funds and the division’s strategic plans. Responsibilities Provide leadership, technical assistance, and review work to ensure accuracy of the products produced by a professional team. Oversee all division purchasing activities, including P‑Card purchases, ensuring timely payments and adherence to procurement regulations and standards. Liaise with vendors, resolve billing delays, and manage processing of central registry requests related to APS. Research, analyze, evaluate, and recommend solutions for complex budget and financial management issues; design projects, review costs, approve projects, and ensure facility projects remain within budget and are completed on schedule. Knowledge Principles, concepts, practices, methods, and techniques of government accounting, including federal funding and GAAP. Principles and practices of administration with special reference to organization, fiscal management, and budgetary control. Statistical analysis, theory, business, and financial operations. Understanding of the requirements, characteristics, and cultural environment required for teams to operate effectively. Skills Oral and written communication of complex concepts. Financial data analysis, including forecasts and projections. Development and organization of work plans and setting workflow priorities. Proficiency with computer software packages (Excel, Word, Access, Google Suite, etc.). Abilities Innovative, strategic thinker and leader involved in the management team. Proficient interaction with diverse audiences at a professional level. Facilitate groups and lead meetings with executive‑level positions. Motivate, manage, direct, and supervise professional staff. Ideal Candidate Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business administration plus 3 years’ experience dealing with complex financial issues.
