CT Technologist - Weekend Option

Role Overview: The CT Technologist applies expertise to deliver high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience in a collaborative healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities Perform CT procedures following department guidelines, capturing diagnostic images with technical precision. Operate imaging equipment independently, ensuring safety and maintaining diagnostic quality while adhering to ALARA principles. Maintain cleanliness and disinfect equipment, report issues promptly, and ensure infection control standards. Gather clinical history, verify orders, and ensure patient identification and safety before procedures. Explain procedures clearly, address patient questions, and provide age-appropriate care to reduce anxiety. Position patients, administer contrast agents when needed, and review images for diagnostic quality. Complete accurate documentation, manage RIS/PACS systems, and ensure proper study finalization. Monitor patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and support department workflows efficiently. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology. Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS (Basic Life Support).
