CT Technologist

Role: CT Technologist responsible for delivering safe, high-quality imaging and supporting patient care at a healthcare facility. Key Responsibilities Perform CT procedures following department protocols, capturing diagnostic images with technical expertise. Operate imaging equipment independently, ensuring optimal image quality while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA). Maintain cleanliness and functionality of equipment and rooms, report issues promptly. Obtain patient history, verify orders, and screen for contraindications. Explain procedures clearly, address patient questions, and ensure comfort, privacy, and safety. Administer contrast agents using sterile techniques and perform exams with proper positioning and safety measures. Review images for diagnostic quality, repeat if necessary, and document accurately in RIS/PACS systems. Monitor patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and support department workflows. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, organize daily tasks, and assist with departmental operations. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of accredited Radiologic Technology program. Minimum 1 year of radiology experience. Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS (Basic Life Support).
