CT Technologist

Role: CT Technologist responsible for delivering safe, high-quality imaging and supporting patient care at a healthcare facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT procedures following department protocols, capturing diagnostic images with technical expertise.
- Operate imaging equipment independently, ensuring optimal image quality while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA).
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of equipment and rooms, report issues promptly.
- Obtain patient history, verify orders, and screen for contraindications.
- Explain procedures clearly, address patient questions, and ensure comfort, privacy, and safety.
- Administer contrast agents using sterile techniques and perform exams with proper positioning and safety measures.
- Review images for diagnostic quality, repeat if necessary, and document accurately in RIS/PACS systems.
- Monitor patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and support department workflows.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, organize daily tasks, and assist with departmental operations.
Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Minimum 1 year of radiology experience.
- Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS (Basic Life Support).
