Diesel Mechanic

Candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repairs of diesel equipment. Responsibilities Must follow ALL OSHA, company, and job site safety rules Operate various pieces of large equipment (dozer, grader, front-end loader, and other related equipment) Ensure proper operation of equipment by performing regular checks on their functionality Perform diagnostic tests on diesel vehicles Analyze diagnostic test results Repairing and replacing parts, engine, steering, transmission, braking or lighting system components Inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, and refilling equipment Commit to the overall safety of the work environment by always taking extra precautions to work with the utmost care and consideration Perform other duties when assigned Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of experience Advanced knowledge of diesel engine components Must be physically fit and be able to lift up to 150 pounds Valid Driver’s License Good diagnostic skills Proficiency with maintenance and repair tools Knowledge of proper operation of heavy equipment as well as safety standards A keen eye to details and good decision making skills Work independently with minimum supervision Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays if Needed Must be able to work well with others Must be able to work in all types of environments, including inclement weather Excellent communication skills (verbally and written) Good organization skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Tri-Lakes Services, Inc.
