Senior Transaction Manager

About the Role As a CBRE Senior Transaction Manager, you will manage real‑estate transaction activities for a defined portfolio of commercial properties. This role is part of the Brokerage job family. Brokers buy, sell and lease industrial, office, retail and other commercial properties on behalf of clients. What You’ll Do Prepare, recommend and execute complex transaction strategies for acquiring and disposing of properties. Develop real‑estate plans aligned with the client’s strategic goals. Gather resources to execute lease renewals, new site acquisitions and disposition of surplus space through subleasing. Act as landlord/seller agent and tenant/buyer agent for high‑profile clients. Review business terms and conditions for a wide variety of commercial real‑estate products. Coordinate the negotiation of sales through a field broker. Negotiate leases, amendments and track expirations. Secure new high‑value properties to meet clients’ requirements and timelines. Work with internal and external teams to ensure integration between the service lines. Track all transaction activity and prepare commissions, forecasts, vouchers and accounts. Contribute to new products, processes, standards and operational plans to achieve functional goals. Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new methods for accomplishing departmental objectives. Showcase expertise in your discipline and in depth knowledge of other disciplines within the organization. Coach others to develop knowledge and expertise in most areas within the function. Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values. Anticipate potential objections and persuade senior stakeholders to adopt alternative viewpoints. Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project or service objectives across multi‑discipline teams. Communicate complex ideas and influence effectively. What You’ll Need Bachelor’s degree preferred with 8–10 years of real‑estate transaction experience; or equivalent combination of experience and education. Real‑estate salesperson license required. Innovative mindset to develop solutions beyond existing ones. Ability to solve unique problems using standard or innovative solutions with broad business impact. In depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Exceptional organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset. Advanced math skills, including calculation of percentages, fractions and other financial figures. Compensation The Senior Transaction Manager position offers a base salary range of $115,000 to $140,000 per year, with an additional discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s benefit program.
