Position Details Role: QC Microbiology Associate I – Environmental Monitoring & Critical Utilities Location: Norwood, MA (100% Onsite) Schedule: Wednesday to Saturday | 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Enjoy a 4-day, 10-hour work week with 3 days off!) What You’ll Do In this role, the [Contingent] Quality Control Microbiology Associate I will perform routine environmental monitoring and critical utility (WFI and Gas) Sampling at Client’s Norwood, MA manufacturing facilities in support of both Clinical and Commercial Manufacturing Operations. Shift: Wednesday to Saturday 10AM to 8PM (15% shift differential). Core Operations: Conduct Environmental Monitoring (Routine, In-Process, and EMPQs), Water for Injection (WFI) sampling, and compressed gas sampling. Data & Systems: Manage data entry, review, and trending using LIMS, and support quality system records (Deviations, CAPAs, Change Controls). Lab Engagement: Maintain lab equipment, troubleshoot test methods, revise SOPs, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives and audits. Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional and external labs for sample coordination and testing. What You’ll Bring Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (0+ years of experience in a GMP QC laboratory setting focusing on microbiology). Technical Skills: Hands‑on familiarity with particle counters, viable air samplers, gas equipment, and aseptic techniques. Software Proficiency: Experience with LIMS, SAP, eQMS, and MS Office. Regulatory Knowledge: Solid foundation in GMP guidelines (FDA, EU, ICH) and general laboratory instrumentation.
