Senior Software Engineer - Mortgage Platforms

Salary: $114,080 - 218,030 per year Requirements:

• We require 6 years of software development experience with deep technical skill in enterprise platform engineering and systems integration.
• We require 4 years of experience delivering technology solutions across all phases of the engineering lifecycle.
• We need demonstrated expertise in either the Blend Point of Sale platform or the Dark Matter Empower LOS platform, including installation, digital experience integration, vendor and batch management, customization, maintenance and support, and end-to-end testing and quality assurance.
• We need strong hands-on experience across the full stack, including responsive web UI applications, APIs and backend services, and event-driven/data integration platforms.
• We look for experience influencing technology integration, solution design, and modernization efforts across multiple Agile Scrum teams.
• We look for experience designing, developing, and maintaining complex software solutions involving multiple stakeholders.
• We require experience integrating AI capabilities into enterprise applications while maintaining security, compliance, scalability, observability, and operational support needs, with familiarity in RAG, knowledge retrieval, vector search, AI agents, and model orchestration frameworks.
• We value expertise in Golang, Java, Python, C++, or similar languages, along with proficiency across multiple technologies and database platforms.
• We prefer strong knowledge of cloud development tools and processes, ideally on AWS.

• We design, develop, code, and test complex tactical and strategic technical solutions across multiple technologies, including emerging tools, to integrate existing systems and platforms.

• We develop complex algorithms to address business needs.
• We investigate and resolve complex application and system issues, including production problems, by guiding end-to-end troubleshooting.

We offer a flexible work environment with an in-office expectation of four days per week, and this role is based in San Antonio, TX or Plano, TX.
