This is an opportunity to play a key role in supporting our customers and ensuring their equipment performs at its best.We‘re looking for a motivated technician based in the Midwestern United States who thrives on solving problems and building customer relationships. In this role, you‘ll serve as a trusted technical resource for customers with operations across Minnesota, Wisconsin, Ohio, Indiana and Michigan.If you enjoy hands-on technical work, variety in your day, and the chance to travel while making a real impact for our customers, this could be the perfect fit.Do you enjoy this work?Install, commission, repair, and maintain Modern Packaging automated machinery at customer sites, including both electrical and mechanical workTroubleshoot and adjust equipment to achieve contracted efficiency rates, perform audits, install upgrades, and deliver follow-up operator trainingDocument all service activities (installations, commissioning, repairs, and upgrades) in detailed site reportsSupport customers by recommending machine upgrades, retrofits, and spare parts that improve safety, performance, reliability, and inventory managementTrain customer personnel during installation, commissioning, and maintenance activitiesWhile not traveling, support the Modern facility in Deer Park, NY by assembling and testing new machines and participating in customer Factory Acceptance TestsMaintain flexibility to adapt to diverse work environments and resolve issues quicklyWhat‘s in it for you?There's no monopoly on innovative ideas or limits to how far you can advance with our team. And because we understand the importance of feeling protected, there is no waiting period for benefits – you are eligible on your first day of employment!Please note that the pay ranges listed on external job boards, outside our posting details, do not accurately reflect our internal compensation ranges.Base Salary Range: $28.00 – 37.00 an hourIf this sounds like you, we want to connect!Previous experience as a Field Service Technician (or similar) with 3+ years of machine startup, repair, and maintenance on medium to large-scale industrial equipmentHigh School Diploma required; Associate‘s Degree in a related technical field (mechanical or electrical) preferredStrong technical skills, including mechanical repair, ability to read part/assembly drawings and wiring schematics, and familiarity with Allen Bradley PLCs, VFDs, and servo controllers (preferred)Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills to manage schedules, paperwork, and technical issues effectivelyExcellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly, train customer personnel, and work well with all levels of operators and managementSelf-motivated and adaptable, able to work independently while maintaining a positive, professional attitudeWillingness to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally (passport required; occasional trips to Mexico and Canada)Pro Mach, Inc. was named to the Inc. 5,000 list of the fastest growing private companies in the U.S. seven times.
