Step into an engaging school-based setting, making a meaningful difference in students’ lives through speech-language support. This contract opportunity begins at the start of the school year and continues until the district secures a permanent hire. In this role, you’ll travel between two supportive elementary environments, working onsite only (no virtual assignments). Each school site will benefit from your specialized skills, as you provide both general and assessment assistance in response to increased caseloads.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
• Prior school experience as an SLP highly desirable
• Flexibility to travel between school locations during the week
• California SLP licensure preferred but not mandatory
• Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational skills

Position Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language services to students according to IEPs and school protocols
• Conduct assessments to address overloads and support the evaluation process
• Collaborate with primary SLPs, teachers, and multidisciplinary school teams
• Provide individualized therapy and small group interventions, adapting to varying student needs
• Clearly document sessions and progress
• Rotate between Braly Elementary (serving mid to moderate needs) and Briarwood Elementary (general education/preschool), with a different location each day
• Work a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm
