About This Role The Carrier Air Conditioning team is looking for a high‑potential candidate to join our SAP Finance team. Key tasks include overall responsibility for SAP Finance system architecture, proposing efficient business processes and serving as an integration layer between business and technology teams. The successful candidate will develop, deploy, and support software solutions for ECC and S4 HANA products. Role Responsibilities Lead implementation projects in accordance with Carrier IT’s methodologies and governance model and collaborate with other IT teams to ensure solution designs are well coordinated and aligned to the overall ERP enterprise architecture. Design, develop, and test system solutions to address business requirements, in alignment with the global solution template. Configure Finance module to achieve business goals, including integration points with other SAP modules or other applications, following SAP standard methodologies. Develop functional specifications for custom developments and collaborate with the development team to get those built and tested. Analyze the existing business processes and business data and provide proactive & constructive recommendations for improvement. Create solution prototypes when teams are working on future design models. Control solution development to ensure standards are being observed. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree. 7+ years of experience leading SAP FICO transformation across global regions, standardizing processes and delivering ERP solutions. Travel to business sites up to 25% of the time. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Trusted and respected as a thought leader who can influence and persuade business and IT leaders. Highly collaborative and supportive of business and its ideals and strategies. Highly innovative with aptitude for foresight, systems thinking and design thinking. Vendor and technology‑neutral — more interested in achieving targeted business outcomes. Practical in approach to problem solving and decision making. Experience in defining and maintaining global templates and playbooks for Finance scenarios. Business process analysis and redesign experience: strong business analysis skills; process mapping; business process redesign and implementation. Experience in design, delivery and support of Finance in SAP S4HANA environments. Experience leading the Finance workstream for ECC/S/4 HANA Finance end‑to‑end implementation for a global, manufacturing company. Expertise in configuration and implementation of both Financial Accounting (FI), Managerial Accounting (CO); understanding of integration with other SAP modules e.g. CFIN. Deep understanding of Corporate Finance Processes such as central payments, open‑item management, credit management, and shared services. A conceptual thinker with the professional skills to create compelling solutions, considering business objectives as well as appropriate regulatory and technical requirements. The ability to excel in a global team environment, effectively communicate and achieve results is critical. Highly motivated, self‑directed, and able to effectively work with limited oversight. Pay Range The annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 – $158,000.00 annually. Factors may influence pay within this range.
