Senior Property Bookkeeper Location: 100% In-Office Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Position Type: Full-Time About the Opportunity We’re looking for an experienced Senior Property Bookkeeper to join a stable, collaborative property management team in Northbrook. This is a great opportunity for someone who knows property accounting, is highly comfortable working in Yardi, and enjoys taking ownership of the day-to-day financial details. If you’re detail-oriented, organized, and have strong hands-on property accounting experience, we’d love to hear from you. What You’ll Do Handle full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting for a portfolio of properties Maintain tenant ledgers and process owner distributions in Yardi Manage month-end and year-end closing processes Complete daily and monthly bank reconciliations for multiple operating and trust accounts Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable Process vendor invoices and utility allocations Monitor tenant balances and delinquency activity Maintain accurate and organized financial records What We’re Looking For 4+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping/accounting experience within property management or real estate 2+ years of hands-on experience with Yardi required Strong experience with month-end closings and bank reconciliations Ability to work independently and manage multiple properties and accounts Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and lookups Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy Why Join Us?
