Senior Property BookkeeperWe're looking for an experienced Senior Property Bookkeeper to join a stable, collaborative property management team in Northbrook. This is a great opportunity for someone who knows property accounting, is highly comfortable working in Yardi, and enjoys taking ownership of the day-to-day financial details.If you're detail-oriented, organized, and have strong hands-on property accounting experience, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll DoHandle full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting for a portfolio of propertiesMaintain tenant ledgers and process owner distributions in YardiManage month-end and year-end closing processesComplete daily and monthly bank reconciliations for multiple operating and trust accountsOversee accounts payable and accounts receivableProcess vendor invoices and utility allocationsMonitor tenant balances and delinquency activityMaintain accurate and organized financial recordsWhat We're Looking For4+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping/accounting experience within property management or real estate2+ years of hands-on experience with Yardi requiredStrong experience with month-end closings and bank reconciliationsAbility to work independently and manage multiple properties and accountsProficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and lookupsStrong attention to detail, organization, and accuracyWhy Join Us?You'll be joining an established property management team that values experience, accuracy, and people who take pride in their work.
