OB Laborist Physician

Location Geisinger Wyoming Valley (GWV), Wilkes‑Barre, PA and Geisinger Community Medical Center (GCMC), Scranton, PA. Shift & Hours Rotation shift. 40 scheduled weekly hours. 8/24‑hour in‑house shifts per month. Responsibilities Co‑manage inpatient labor and delivery with residents and nurse midwives. Provide inpatient care to pregnant women and manage labor and delivery on both emergency and routine basis. Work with surgical physician assistants for scheduled cesareans. Support a high‑volume delivery environment (up to 2,000 deliveries per year at GWV, 900 at GCMC). Compensation & Benefits Competitive straight salary with recruitment incentives. Qualifications Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (MD/DO) – required. Licensed Medical Doctor, State of Pennsylvania.
