Perform card account maintenance, payment processing, card production support, and servicing requests, while assisting members and internal partners with card-related inquiries. Due to regulatory and operational requirements, responsibilities require consistent attention to detail, compliance, and accuracy to ensure efficient service delivery and positive outcomes for UNFCU and its members. This position is expected to be hybrid. NYC Salary Range - $55,500 - $65,130 annually; compensation is commensurate to geographic location. What You'll Do Regardless of seniority or role, uphold UNFCU's mission, core values, and guiding principles by providing an exceptional service experience to colleagues and members through consistent demonstration of our service excellence behaviors. Ensure superior member service and satisfaction by effectively processing members' stop payment requests on balance transfers. Review charged-off checking and/or savings accounts, removing any linked cards. Review daily EFT payment reports for returned credit card payments and process payment reversals where necessary. Provide support to Contact Center, Retail Branches, and Representative Offices for card-related member inquiries and issues. Perform necessary maintenance and adjustments to member card accounts, including card blocks, account maintenance, card replacements, card transfers, and other card servicing requests. Navigate multiple service applications and systems to accurately process member requests and account maintenance. Review daily card embossing reject reports, make the necessary corrections, and reprocess rejected cards to ensure timely and accurate card production. Review daily operational reports to ensure timely processing, accuracy, and compliance with established departmental procedures and service level expectations. Assist in reviewing, maintaining, and updating departmental procedures to ensure operational efficiency, compliance, and proper documentation. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned. Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, UNFCU policies, and the UNFCU Code of Ethics & Business Conduct. What We're Seeking Bachelor’s degree or some college coursework completed 1-3 years of back-office experience in a financial processing environment, preferably in a cards-related role Computer proficiency with basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Basic knowledge of debit and credit card processing What Makes You Stand Out Knowledge of compliance pertaining to Regulation E and Z Knowledge of VISA chargeback regulations Who We Are UNFCU is a global not-for-profit financial institution that serves the UN community.
