Snowflake Data Consultant

Kforce has a client in need of a Snowflake Data Consultant in Boston, MA. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based data solutions and ELT pipelines
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions
- Build and optimize data integration, transformation, and ingestion processes
- Develop and maintain complex SQL, data models, database objects, and automation workflows
- Support real-time and batch data processing initiatives
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data platform performance
- Implement data quality, governance, and security best practices
- Participate in Agile development activities, including planning, testing, code reviews, and deployments
- Support production environments and resolve data-related issues
- Contribute to process improvements, architecture discussions, and technical best practices
- 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or ETL/ELT development
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms
- Strong experience with SQL development, query optimization, and performance tuning
- Experience building and supporting scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions
- Proficiency with Python or other modern programming languages for data engineering
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and analytical data structures
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with data integration, change data capture, and large-scale data processing
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
- Experience working in Agile development environments
