Travel Plaza CashierAs a Travel Plaza Cashier at Onvo, you will be the front-line representative for our customers, ensuring a fast, friendly, and accurate checkout experience. You will handle transactions, maintain a clean and organized sales area, and provide excellent customer service in a busy travel plaza environment.Job ResponsibilitiesOperate cash register and process various payment methods accuratelyGreet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product location or information.Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including stocking supplies and cleaning countertops.Handle returns, exchanges, and customer complaints professionally and efficiently.Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining product displays as needed.Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and age-restricted sales (e.g., tobacco, alcohol).Communicate effectively with team members and management.Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall operation of the travel plaza.Job QualificationsPrevious experience in a retail or customer service environment is a plus.Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.A positive attitude and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.Onvo is an equal opportunity employer.
