Senior Recruiter

Responsibilities Manage end‑to‑end full life cycle recruiting process for entry‑mid level roles across Ares’ U.S. Non‑Investments Partner with Talent Acquisition, Talent Management & HR Business Partner, Compensation, Diversity & Inclusion, and HR Operations teams to understand talent needs and deliver strategies and solutions for recruiting Strategically source and develop candidate pipeline through direct sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Workday ATS Manage talent sourcing activities including research, market intelligence and mapping, direct outreach, networking and screening Identify and implement diversity sourcing objectives in partnership with the diversity equity & inclusion team Maintain communication flow between hiring managers and candidates in a timely manner Advise hiring managers on considerations such as level, compensation and responsibilities to help attract, retain and develop top talent Provide a high‑touch experience to all candidates from application stage to offer Understand the financial services industry market and create a strong external brand presence for Ares Identify trends, issues and opportunities in the marketplace relevant to talent pools through internal data and market research Coordinate with other departmental recruiters to assist with open positions in other functional areas Identify opportunities to improve the overall recruiting and hiring experience for both managers and candidates Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent Minimum of 8‑10 years recruiting experience within the financial services industry and experience within corporate, retained and/or contingent recruitment search Strong knowledge of Boolean searches, creative & strategic talent sourcing methods Experience effectively negotiating job offers and employment terms Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (Workday) and other recruitment platforms (LinkedIn) Professional demeanor with a focus on client and candidate service while maintaining confidentiality Comfortable using data to inform recruitment strategies and decisions Ability to adjust recruiting strategies based on changing needs and circumstances Proven experience and passion for direct sourcing Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet department project deadlines Dependable, highly motivated, thrives in an environment needing strong ownership and accountability Salary and Benefits Base salary range: $145,000–$185,000. Total compensation may include discretionary performance‑based bonus.
