World SPA LOUNGE, which is a 250 seat restaurant and is the most fast paced of all is located within the Spa area, where guests can either enjoy a cup of artisanal tea, crafted cocktail, fresh sushi and small plates in between experiencing multitude of Spa rooms and saunas or can reserve a cabana for a full on feast or celebration. World Spa Lounge offerings represent the same regions as the Spa: Eastern European, Mediterranean, Asian and American. World Spa Lounge feels casual and unpretentious still offering the highest quality of food & beverages and friendly, attentive service. BIRCH&OAK is a VIP area with its own Bar and Restaurant, outdoor terrace that can be enjoyed by the Members during their Spa visit or on its own. In addition to the three dining venues, World Spa features 2 exclusive Private Rooms that have their own sauna for groups of 22 and 15 guests.

Position Summary: The Bartender will be mixing, garnishing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company specifications. Helping guests choose menu items or guiding them through drink options. Taking orders and making guests feel taken care of during their time at the restaurant.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Receives orders from Customers, members and waitstaff. Prepares and serves liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered. Ensures that fruit and other garnishes are prepared ahead of the opening of the bar. Maintains the bar and keeps it clean and organized. Attractively displays glasses and liquor bottles. Keeps bar supplied with essentials Ensures that customers are of legal drinking age by checking photo IDs. Collects money from customers for drinks prepared and served. Uses proper judgment and, when necessary, refuses service to patrons who are intoxicated or disruptive. Submits orders or creates requisition forms for liquor, beer, and other bar-related supplies.

Skills, Abilities and Experience: At least 2+ years of related bartending experience in hospitality or restaurant preferred. Extensive knowledge of drink preparation or service. Completion of mixology, barkeeping, or other related training preferred (Bartending Certificate). Alcohol Training Awareness Program certificate preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills and focus on serving customers. Ability to remain calm when dealing with unruly and argumentative patrons. Ability to learn cash register software used by bars or restaurants. Must be at least 21 years of age Education/Credentials: Tips Certification or ability to pass certification upon hire

Compensation: Hourly ($17.50) plus tips

Estimated Weekly Tips: $1,000.00
