Basic Summary Administer professional massage and body treatments to clients/ guests. Education/Experience/Other Requirements High School Diploma required. 2 years’ experience in the hospitality industry preferred. Valid Florida Massage Therapist License; responsible for maintaining all required licenses and certifications during employment. Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to complete forms/reports as required, effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to guests and other associates of the organization. Solve practical problems. Deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Listen effectively and to speak English clearly over the telephone and in person. Work in a team environment. Work in a fast‑paced environment. Achieve positive guest relations and maximize guest satisfaction. Work without constant direct supervision. Physical Demands – Ability To Grasp, lift, push/pull, carry or transport up to 50 lbs. Ability to push/pull wheeled carts weighing up to 100 lbs. Stand for length of scheduled shift. Bend, stoop, kneel, and reach with hands and arms. Perceive the nature of sounds at a normal speaking level and make fine discriminations in sound. Have visual acuity to determine accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.
