Responsibilities Desktop Administrator responsibilities include but are not limited to: End-User Support & Operations Provide day-to-day technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues across the site Deliver high-quality support to both technical and non-technical users Systems & Infrastructure Support Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies within Active Directory Support Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Office applications) and Windows environments Assist with basic server and network troubleshooting Device & Lifecycle Management Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain desktop hardware and software Perform system imaging, patching, and updates Ensure devices meet corporate security and compliance standards Site IT Presence Serve as a key IT contact for local users and coordinate with central IT teams Support business operations systems and infrastructure Participate in IT projects and system upgrades Technology Environment Windows Desktop & Windows Server Active Directory Microsoft 365 / Exchange Basic networking (switching, connectivity) Work Environment & Expectations On-site role based in Kansas City, MO On-call/after-hours support Limited travel required This is an on-site position. Qualifications Qualified Candidates for the Desktop Administrator position should possess the following: Core Requirements Strong working knowledge of Windows Desktop and Active Directory Experience with desktop hardware troubleshooting and upgrades Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively High school diploma required; college or technical certifications preferred Core Professional Traits Self-starter with the ability to work independently in an on-site environment Strong ownership mindset in resolving issues end-to-end Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn and adopt new technologies Adaptability in a fast-paced operational environment Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
