The Staff Accountant will support a broad range of corporate accounting activities, including billing, accounts payable, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close. This role works closely with other members of the accounting and finance team as well as internal business partners.

The position is well suited for someone who has built a foundation in accounting and is ready to gain more hands-on general ledger experience. You'll have visibility into multiple areas of the accounting cycle and the opportunity to contribute to process improvements as you grow.

Role Responsibilities

• Support customer billing and related monthly reconciliations
• Process accounts payable documentation, deposits, and other accounting transactions
• Prepare account reconciliations, schedules, reports, and supporting documentation
• Assist with month-end close, journal entries, accruals, and financial reporting
• Research accounting discrepancies and help resolve outstanding issues
• Communicate with internal teams, customers, and vendors as needed
• Support accounting process improvements, automation, and special projects

Qualifications

• Approximately 1-5 years of general accounting experience
• Experience with areas such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, reconciliations, journal entries, or general ledger accounting
• Working knowledge of GAAP and fundamental accounting principles
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial data
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is helpful but not required for every candidate
