High School Special Education Teacher

Job Summary Fort Lee Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a position at Fort Lee High School. Qualifications Must hold a Teacher of the Handicapped (TOH) certificate or a NJ K-12 instructional certificate with a Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD) endorsement. In-Class Resource experience preferred. Experience working with high school students. Knowledge of special education practices, including development and implementation of IEPs. Knowledge of NJ Student Learning Standards. Ability to work in a collaborative environment as part of a team. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Working Conditions Full time, tenure track, 10 month position, with benefits. Salary Range Based on FLEA salary guide which ranges between $64,375 to $121,709, commensurate with experience.
