They will be accountable for driving revenue growth, developing and executing account strategies, ensuring customer satisfaction, and leading a team of account managers. The Global Account Director will report to the Vice President of Sales.Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead global alignment of the account management structure for a specific account portfolio, across multiple regions, communicate and coordinate the global strategy for each accountDevelop and execute account strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targetsBuild and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at assigned global accountsIdentify opportunities to expand services and increase revenue within assigned accountsCollaborate with internal teams to ensure operational excellence and timely resolution of customer issuesPrepare and present business reviews and performance reports to clients and DSV managementConduct regular account planning and review meetings with the teamEnsure customer satisfaction through effective communication, responsiveness, and issue resolutionEducational background / Work experienceBachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field is requiredMaster's degree in business or a related field is preferredMinimum of 10 years of experience in sales or account management in the transportation and logistics industryExperience managing global accounts and developing account strategies is requiredExperience working in a multinational corporation is requiredSkills & CompetenciesStrong business acumen and strategic thinking skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to build and maintain strong customer relationshipsStrong leadership and team management skillsProficiency in data analysis and reportingAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentLanguage skillsFluency in English is requiredProficiency in other languages is a plusComputer LiteracyProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is requiredExperience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) is preferred.At Will EmploymentDSV Air & Sea Inc. employees are hired for an undefined period of time as “at will” employees. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, geographic location and other objective business considerations.
