Construction Safety Manager 5

Our client, a leading technology infrastructure organization, is seeking a Construction Safety Manager 5. You will be part of the Construction Safety / EHS team supporting contractors and subcontractors on active construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, leadership without authority, and the ability to influence field teams, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Construction Safety Manager 5

Location: Granger, Indiana (Onsite)

Pay Range: $77.71 – $83.70/hour

What's the Job?

Provide on-site safety oversight of contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project standards
Review contractor safety plans, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and method statements for compliance
Conduct regular site walkthroughs to identify unsafe conditions and enforce corrective actions
Monitor high-risk activities such as electrical work, crane operations, confined space entry, and excavation
Participate in safety meetings, incident investigations, and report safety performance metrics to leadership

What's Needed?

10+ years of construction safety experience in large-scale construction environments
CSP, CHST, or equivalent safety certification or construction management degree/experience
Strong background in construction safety with exposure to data center or electrical-heavy projects
Proven ability to influence teams and enforce compliance without direct authority
Excellent communication, documentation, and risk mitigation skills
Data center construction experience
