Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Security Clearance Patrol in Carson, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $23.66 / Hour Job Schedule: Day/Time: Monday 07:00 PM - 05:00 AM; Tuesday 07:00 PM - 05:00 AM; Wednesday 07:00 PM - 05:00 AM; Thursday 07:00 PM - 05:00 AM. What You’ll Do Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a defense-focused location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through the appropriate channels. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and support access control procedures for employees, visitors, and/or approved vendors. Document daily activities, patrol findings, and/or incident details, and communicate relevant information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements Have 2+ years of security-related experience. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance. Be at least 21 years of age. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
