White Light Behavioral Health Columbus, Ohio is seeking a compassionate, recovery-oriented Peer Recovery Support Specialist to join our growing behavioral health and substance use treatment team in Columbus, Ohio. Our programs provide a full continuum of care for individuals experiencing substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping others navigate early recovery, build stability, and connect with community resources through lived experience, advocacy, and peer engagement. Position Responsibilities & Opportunities Provide peer support services to clients in residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient settingsUtilize lived recovery experience to encourage hope, engagement, and retention in treatmentFacilitate peer-led groups and recovery-focused discussionsAssist clients with recovery planning, coping skills, and community reintegrationConnect clients with community resources including housing, transportation, employment, meetings, and support servicesCollaborate with clinical, medical, nursing, and case management teamsComplete timely and accurate documentation in the EMRMaintain professional boundaries and uphold Ohio peer support ethics standardsSupport a safe, respectful, and recovery-oriented treatment environment
