Job Title

Float Med-Surg / Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Location

Kapaau, Hawaii

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 12-Hour Shifts | Days and/or Nights | Weekends and Holidays as Needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in both Medical-Surgical and Emergency Room settings as a float nurse
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a diverse patient population in a critical access hospital environment
• Respond to emergency situations and deliver acute care interventions as required in the ED
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure continuity and quality of patient care
• Accurately document all patient care activities and clinical findings using EPIC

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in both Medical-Surgical and Emergency Room nursing
• Strong proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• Ability to work day and/or night shifts, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a critical access hospital setting
• Demonstrated ability to float between multiple units and adapt quickly to varying patient care needs
