Responsibilities:

• Business Development
  • Emphasis in commercial sales and client relationships.
  • Utilizing contacts to gain access to new projects.
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies in key markets.
• Project Management
  • Oversee multiple projects in various stages including budgeting, preconstruction, construction, completion, and closeout.
  • Perform a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed.
  • Manage all project management processes for RFI's, submittals, etc.
  • Budget tracking
  • Communicate effectively with the project team.
  • Periodic inspection of construction sites.
• Scheduling
  • Create and manage the project schedule with the superintendent.
  • Ensure that construction activities move according to pre-determined schedule.
  • Coordinate subcontractor meetings on site as needed.
• Estimating
  • Estimating during all phases of pre-construction (schematic design, design development, construction documents)
  • Bringing about optimum utilization of resources- labor, materials and equipment, and ensuring their procurement at most cost-effective terms.

• Minimum 5 years' experience in construction projects (preferably multi-family and commercial construction).
• A four-year bachelor's degree in construction management is preferred but not required.
• Thorough knowledge of OSHA safety standards is essential.
• Computer Skills: MS Office, MS Project, Bluebeam preferred.
