The Lead APP’s primary responsibility is to care for patients by building highly reliable, high‑performing APP Clinicians who are part of the Physician‑APP team to produce effective outcomes for their patients and the organization. The Site Lead APP is responsible for providing leadership of all APP Hospitalist staff at a single hospital. They collaborate with the Medical Director, hospitalist Physicians, nursing leadership team, and hospital medical staff to ensure the in‑patient care delivery model achieves high‑quality in‑patient care that evolves to match the needs of the patients, the hospital, and the community.
