Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to patients in critical situations.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate and efficient nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient treatment.
Assist in emergency medical procedures and assessments.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic health record system.
Participate in patient and family education regarding health concerns and treatment plans.

Work Schedule

This position requires:

3 shifts per week, 12 hours each shift (7 PM - 7:30 AM).
2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days within a 6-week period.
Holidays as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department.
ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications are required.
CPI, PALS, and TNCC certifications are preferred.
Experience with EPIC electronic health records is required.
Previous experience in a Charge Nurse role and Level 2 Trauma experience is preferred.
