DC Associate I

Compensation Data Starting Pay: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour dependent on experience Company Overview TBC Corporation has been a leader in the mobility industry and is one of North America’s largest marketers and distributors of automotive replacement tires. We operate nearly 470 franchised tire and automotive service centers under the award‑winning Big O Tires brand. Our headquarters are in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Responsibilities Operate various Material Handling Equipment (MHE) in a safe and efficient manner. Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of products. Unload and put‑away product utilizing RF technology. Inspect inbound for overages and shortages. Pick and stage product. Load truck(s). Maintain organization of product in the warehouse. Assist center to optimize operations and customer service to achieve business plan and DC profitability. Participate in cycle count or physical inventory process as required. Maintain a clean work area and assist in the overall sanitation of the DC. Complete MHE reports as required by company policy and OSHA regulations. Perform any other tasks as defined by Supervisor or Center Manager. Abide by all Federal, State, and Local laws. Other duties as assigned or requested. Qualifications Forklift certification preferred. Experience with RF scanners preferred. Safety 1st mentality. Prior distribution center experience preferred. Prior material handling equipment experience preferred. Must be 18 years or older. Valid driver’s license. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly while bending and twisting and occasionally lift more than 50 lbs.
