Product Manager

About The Role The role drives the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for core platform APIs and developer-facing services. This position acts as the crucial bridge between engineering, data science, and business units to translate complex technical capabilities into scalable, high-impact product solutions. The product manager will collaborate closely with distributed engineering teams to design reliable APIs, optimize system performance, and define data-driven product requirements that support millions of end-user transactions daily. Key Responsibilities Define, prioritize, and execute a comprehensive product roadmap for core platform APIs, leveraging Jira, Confluence, and roadmapping tools. Translate business objectives into detailed technical product requirements, user stories, and API specifications (OpenAPI/Swagger). Partner with engineering leads and software architects to define system integrations, data models, and technical architecture trade-offs. Establish, track, and report on key product performance metrics, including system uptime, API latency, error rates, and developer adoption. Lead agile rituals, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospective sessions for cross-functional engineering teams. Conduct competitive analysis and user research to identify market opportunities, emerging technical trends, and developer pain points. What We Are Looking For 4+ years of product management experience, specifically managing technical products, APIs, or developer platforms. Solid technical background with a deep understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP). Proven ability to write detailed technical specifications and manage product backlogs in fast-paced engineering environments. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL, Amplitude, Tableau, or similar data analysis and product analytics tools. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related technical field.
