Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Ortho/Surg/Peds Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 1st 12 hour days, float as needed Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to area of employment License: Current state Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact Certifications: American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider or an approved equivalent Must-Have: - Clinical competence - Patient care management - Nursing theory - Nursing practice Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This individual demonstrates competency in the delivery of care to a primarily adult population. The role incorporates essential functions which follow the Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice.
