Of Counsel - Eminent Domain (7+ Years of Experience)

Meyers Nave is seeking an experienced Of Counsel attorney with 7+ years of litigation experience to join our Trial & Litigation Practice Group, with a focus on eminent domain and related real property litigation. This position is open to our San Diego, Los Angeles or Oakland offices . The ideal candidate will have significant experience handling eminent domain, real estate litigation, or public entity land acquisition matters and be comfortable taking a lead role in complex cases from initial strategy through trial preparation. Key Responsibilities Manage eminent domain and related real property litigation matters Develop and execute litigation strategy for complex cases Handle property valuation analysis and damages issues Draft and argue substantive motions, including dispositive motions Manage all phases of discovery, including complex document production Take and defend depositions Work closely with appraisers, experts, witnesses, and clients Develop evidence and prepare matters for trial Provide strategic guidance throughout all stages of litigation Collaborate with attorneys across offices and practice areas Qualifications 7+ years of substantive litigation experience Experience in eminent domain, real estate litigation, or public entity land acquisition matters is required Complex litigation experience is strongly preferred Significant experience with law and motion practice Strong deposition and discovery experienceExperience developing and preparing cases for trial Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and strategic thinking skills Ability to independently manage sophisticated matters while working effectively in a collaborative team environment Experience representing public entities is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Meyers Nave
