Service Coordinator

Service CoordinatorA local property management company is looking for an organized and customer-focused individual to join their team as a Service Coordinator. This position will work closely with residents and the maintenance team to coordinate service requests, schedule maintenance needs, and ensure residents receive timely follow-up. The Service Coordinator will also assist with purchasing and administrative support for the maintenance team.Service Coordinator Responsibilities:Taking calls from residents regarding maintenance and service needsEntering and documenting resident service requestsFollowing up with residents on open service requestsCoordinating and scheduling maintenance service requestsCommunicating updates and scheduling information to residentsWorking closely with the maintenance team to ensure service requests are addressedEntering and maintaining purchase ordersOrdering maintenance supplies and materials as neededMaintaining accurate records related to service requests, purchasing, and maintenance needsProviding professional and helpful customer service to residentsAssisting with additional resident relations and administrative needs as neededSchedule & Pay:Monday - Friday 9am-5pm$19-$23/HR based on experienceService Coordinator Qualifications:Previous customer service, administrative, service coordination, or property management experience preferredStrong customer service and communication skillsComfortable handling a high volume of phone calls and resident requestsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple service requests and follow-up items at onceStrong follow-through and ability to keep accurate documentationExperience with scheduling or coordinating service requests preferredExperience with purchase orders, ordering, or purchasing is a plusComfortable working with computers and learning property management softwareProfessionalism and empathy when communicating with residentsAbility to work independently while also coordinating closely with a teamLocation: Grand Rapids, MIPosition Type: Full-time, Evaluation Hire
