Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Interventional Pain Management Physician (Anesthesiology or PM&R fellowship trained) to join our expanding Interventional Pain Medicine program in the Lafayette Region. This position offers a unique opportunity to practice comprehensive chronic pain management in both outpatient and perioperative settings within a collaborative, innovative, and academically oriented health system. Ochsner Lafayette General serves as a regional hub for advanced care and is home to multiple Centers of Excellence, including: Center of Excellence in Breast Imaging Accredited Cancer Center Accredited Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery Program Advanced Certified Primary Stroke Center Our Interventional Pain Management Department is growing rapidly, supported by a strong internal referral network and collaboration with multiple specialties across the Ochsner system. Position Highlights Join a well-established and expanding Interventional Pain program within a large, integrated health system. Enterprise-wide Epic EMR streamlines documentation, referrals, and care coordination. Robust multi-specialty support with access to neurosurgery, orthopedics, oncology, physical therapy, primary care, and more. Responsibilities Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions. Perform a full spectrum of interventional pain procedures. Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans across outpatient and perioperative settings. Prescribe medications and treatment regimens appropriately. Document all patient encounters in Epic in a timely manner. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care. Request additional evaluations, testing, or referrals as needed. Ensure accurate coding and compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and licensing standards.
