What You’ll Do

• Provide inpatient rounding and post-op care for vascular and cardiothoracic patients
• Conduct surgical consults and assist in patient management
• Cover Emergency Room calls as needed
• Participate in clinic operations one day per week
• Assist with procedures such as CABG, thoracotomies, and AAA repairs
• Collaborate closely with a team of cardiovascular surgeons and APPs
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure quality patient care

What You Need

• Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Louisiana
• At least 1 year of experience in cardiovascular or thoracic care (preferred)
• Strong clinical and surgical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

About the Assignment

This role is based at a dynamic, high-volume cardiovascular unit performing approximately 90 surgeries and procedures monthly. The APP will work alongside experienced surgeons and other providers, contributing to a busy, fast-paced environment dedicated to patient-centered care and surgical excellence.
