• Certification Required: License in LA (or eligible), ACLS preferred
• Experience: Prior APP experience in cardiovascular or thoracic surgery preferred

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (Please note, this appears to be placeholder; pay package discussed upon application)

What You’ll Do:

• Perform inpatient rounding for post-op cardiovascular surgery patients
• Assist with surgical consults and pre/post-operative care
• Provide emergency room call coverage for urgent cases
• Participate in approximately 90 surgeries and procedures per month, including CABG, VATS, thoracotomies, lobectomies, AAA repairs, arterial bypasses, and valve replacements
• Support the surgical team with inpatient and outpatient care
• Collaborate with cardiovascular surgeons and other advanced practice providers

What You Need:

• Active state license in Louisiana or eligible for licensure
• APRN or PA certification
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in cardiovascular or thoracic surgery
• Strong clinical skills in inpatient rounding and surgical support
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
