What You’ll Do

• Provide inpatient care and manage post-operative patients
• Collaborate with a team of two cardiovascular surgeons and other APPs
• Perform pre- and post-operative assessments
• Assist in surgical procedures such as CABG, VATS, lobectomies, AAA repairs, arterial bypass, and valve replacements
• Participate in emergency room call coverage and surgical consults
• Contribute to a busy practice with approximately 90 surgeries and procedures per month

What You Need

• Active Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in Louisiana
• 2+ years of experience in cardiovascular or thoracic surgery preferred
• Excellent clinical skills with a team-oriented approach
• Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
