Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician AsstThe Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Asst will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and therapy to patients with mental health disorders. They will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the individual needs of each patient.Responsibilities include:Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessmentsPrescribe and manage medications for mental health disordersProvide therapy and counseling to patientsCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plansMonitor and evaluate patient progressDocument patient care in electronic medical recordsParticipate in quality improvement initiativesProvide education and support to patients and their familiesRequirements include:Master's degree in nursing or physician assistant studiesCurrent state licensure as a nurse practitioner or physician assistantCertification as a psychiatric nurse practitioner or physician assistantExperience in psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and therapyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skillsProficiency in electronic medical records
