SAP S/4HANA Analytics Report Writer

Job Summary:

The SAP Report Writer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reporting, dashboard, and analytics solutions within the SAP S/4HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) environments. This role supports enterprise-wide business decision-making by translating complex requirements into intuitive visualizations, KPI dashboards, and operational reports. The position requires collaboration with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical resources to deliver accurate, timely, and meaningful analytics solutions that advance large-scale ERP modernization initiatives. Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze reporting requirements from business stakeholders and functional teams.
• Design, develop, and maintain SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) stories, dashboards, and visualizations.
• Create and consume SAP S/4HANA analytical queries, CDS views, and embedded analytics solutions.
• Validate data, perform testing, and troubleshoot reporting and analytics issues.
• Support user adoption and promote best practices in reporting and analytics.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to support ERP transformation programs.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of analytics capabilities within the SAP environment.
• Prepare and submit documentation including Architectural Review Board approvals, Business Requirements Documents, and Project Charters as required.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
• 7+ years of experience in business/system analysis, SAP BASIS administration, SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and other SAP modules.
• 7+ years of experience with databases such as Sybase/ASE and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience working in large ERP programs and public sector environments.
• Experience with project management methodologies and leadership roles.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Clean criminal record check and ability to maintain status throughout the contract.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• 5+ years experience with SAP Datasphere including data modeling and enterprise reporting solutions.
• 5+ years developing SAP Fiori analytical applications, KPI dashboards, and embedded analytics.
• 5+ years experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and SAP BW/BW4HANA environments.
• Experience designing enterprise reporting data models, KPI frameworks, and implementing reporting security.
• Experience optimizing SAP reporting performance and integrating SAP with non-SAP data sources.
• Experience with Power BI report development and executive dashboard creation.
• Proven ability to provide references related to SAP analytics and reporting expertise.

Special Considerations:

• On-site work required at 215 Garry Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
• Clean criminal record check required at proponent's expense prior to engagement and maintained throughout contract.
• Enhanced background checks may be required depending on project confidentiality.
• Overtime work requires prior written approval and is only permitted under exceptional circumstances.
• Resources must be pre-screened and supported professionally by the proponent.
• Manitoba offices observe statutory holidays with unpaid leave on those days.

Scheduling:

• Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm CST (7.25 hours per day).
• Extended working hours may be required occasionally to meet project deadlines but are not guaranteed.
• Work schedule is primarily on-site during regular Manitoba office hours.
