SAP S4 Release Manager

We are hiring for a SAP S4 Release Manager. The role focuses on SAP S/4 release management, environment governance, release planning, and operational control across SAP landscapes.
A strong fit will have 12 14 years of experience in SAP S4 Release Management, SAP BASIS, SAP BTP, and Project Management.

What you bring

• 12 14 years of experience in SAP S4 Release Management, SAP BASIS, SAP BTP, and Project Management.

• Graduation qualification.

• Experience managing SAP environments including DEV, QA, UAT, PRE PROD, and PROD.

• Strong experience with SAP environment strategy, governance, release planning, and coordination.

• Experience with SAP BASIS best practices, HANA tuning, kernel updates, and job scheduling.

• Experience with S/4HANA system performance monitoring, including CPU, memory, background jobs, and SAP short dumps.

What you'll do

• Own SAP environment strategy and governance across all landscapes.

• Define and enforce environment usage rules, refresh policies, access standards, and naming conventions.

• Plan, schedule, and control environment usage across projects, AMS enhancements, defect fixes, testing cycles, and technical upgrades.

• Manage environment conflicts across concurrent initiatives and coordinate bundled major and minor releases.

• Maintain an integrated environment calendar covering releases, testing windows, refreshes, freezes, and maintenance periods.

• Coordinate the transition from BUILD phases to RUN phases.

• Ensure release components are delivered, controlled, traceable, and ready for deployment and operations.

• Conduct regular SAP environment health checks and drive related enhancement initiatives.

• Monitor SAP Notes and support preventive maintenance activities.
