Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CRM) Expert

Location: St. Louis, MO (Onsite 3 days/week)

Duration: 6-12+ months (potential extension)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CRM) Expert Contractor to help transform and optimize its CRM environment. This is not a role for someone who simply gathers requirements—it demands a forward‑thinking professional who can strategize with business leaders, challenge conventional approaches, and deliver impactful CRM solutions that drive adoption and measurable business value.

The current CRM adoption rate is only ~15%, with clunky sales processes. The successful candidate will bring real‑world experience, demonstrate how they’ve built scalable CRM solutions in past organizations, and provide evidence of driving sales adoption and customer intelligence through Dynamics 365 CE.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales and Leadership teams to strategize CRM adoption and streamline business processes.

  • Design and implement intuitive sales dashboards and user experiences within Dynamics 365 CE.

  • Build leadership views that highlight:

    • Salesperson activities and engagement

    • Performance metrics and trends

    • Customer contributions (historical and current)

    • Pipeline visibility and forecasting

  • Develop customer health dashboards with insights into:

    • Communication and engagement history

    • Spending and sales trends

    • Opportunity pipeline visibility

    • Drill‑down analytics for decision‑making

  • Create customer snapshot reports for Sales teams, consolidating:

    • Account history

    • Spending trends

    • Communications and notes

    • Open opportunities

    • Key customer insights and market intelligence

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Proven success in transforming Dynamics 365 CE environments and driving sales adoption.

  • Ability to recommend best practices and challenge conventional thinking.

  • Strong background in CRM analytics, customer intelligence, and dashboard/report development .

  • Excellent communication skills—able to engage with business and sales teams , make suggestions, and present evidence of past impactful work.

  • Hands‑on technical expertise with Dynamics 365 CE, CRM configuration, and development.
