You will work alongside a team of dedicated healthcare professionals in a supportive and dynamic environment that values work-life balance, encouraging flexible hours from Monday to Friday, tailored to fit your schedule.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Physical Therapist with Elite Providence, your primary responsibilities will include:Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical capabilities and limitations.Developing individualized treatment plans that address specific needs and therapeutic goals.Utilizing a variety of treatment methods such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapies, and equipment usage to restore mobility and alleviate pain.Tracking patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as needed based on ongoing assessments.Recommending and fitting assistive devices, such as walkers or braces, to promote independence and mobility.Providing comprehensive education and training to patients, caregivers, and families on therapy procedures and the use of assistive devices.Engaging in continuous professional development by attending workshops, pursuing certifications, and collaborating with peers.Patient Population / Client FocusOur services cater to a diverse patient population, including children and adults recovering from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. You will encounter a variety of diagnoses that require adaptive and innovative therapeutic approaches, ensuring that every patient receives tailored care that promotes their unique recovery journey.QualificationsTo be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following:A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.A valid State License to practice Physical Therapy in Florida.Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with patients and the healthcare team.Proficiency in documentation and electronic health record systems.Exceptional adaptability and problem-solving skills.Preferred ExperienceWhile we welcome applicants with at least two years of professional experience in a clinical or outpatient setting, we also provide mentorship opportunities for new graduates.
