Explore what we have to offer and help turn your talents into a rewarding career.Job Description:Position SummaryThe Leasing Consultant is responsible for leasing market-rate and workforce housing apartment homes while delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring compliance with workforce housing program requirements. This role serves as the primary point of contact for prospective residents, guides applicants through the leasing process, verifies workforce eligibility, and contributes to achieving occupancy, leasing, and resident retention goals.Essential ResponsibilitiesLeasing & SalesGreet and assist prospective residents in person, by phone, email, and online inquiries.Conduct professional community and apartment tours that highlight the property's features, amenities, and lifestyle.Convert leads into qualified applicants by utilizing effective sales and closing techniques.Follow up with prospects and maintain accurate records in the property's CRM and property management software.Prepare lease agreements, renewals, addendums, and move-in documentation.Maintain current knowledge of pricing, availability, floor plans, and community policies.Meet or exceed monthly leasing, occupancy, and resident retention goals.Workforce Housing AdministrationProcess applications for workforce housing units in accordance with program guidelines.Verify applicant eligibility, including employment, household income, and required supporting documentation.Ensure workforce housing files are complete, accurate, and compliant with applicable program requirements.Coordinate with employers, third-party verification sources, and applicants to obtain required documentation.Maintain organized leasing and workforce housing records for internal reviews and audits.Assist residents with workforce housing renewals and any required annual updates.Resident RelationsDeliver outstanding customer service throughout the resident lifecycle.Respond promptly and professionally to resident and prospect inquiries.Assist with move-ins, transfers, lease renewals, and move-out procedures.Build positive relationships with residents to support resident satisfaction and lease renewals.Resolve concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.Administrative ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate records within the property's management software.Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly leasing activity reports.Collect deposits, application fees, and required documentation.Support marketing initiatives, outreach events, and resident appreciation activities.Maintain the leasing office, model apartments, and amenity areas to company standards.QualificationsRequiredMinimum of two (2) years of multifamily leasing experience.Experience leasing both market-rate and workforce housing communities.Knowledge of workforce housing qualification requirements, income calculations, and eligibility verification.Strong understanding of Fair Housing laws and leasing best practices.Excellent sales, customer service, communication, and organizational skills.Proficiency with property management software such as RealPage, Yardi, Entrata, or similar platforms.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.PreferredBilingual (English/Spanish).Experience with CRM software and digital lead management.Experience participating in outreach marketing and community events.Core CompetenciesSales and closing skillsCustomer-focused mindsetStrong verbal and written communicationAttention to detailTime management and organizationProblem-solving and conflict resolutionProfessionalism and teamworkPhysical RequirementsAbility to walk the property and conduct apartment tours.Ability to stand for extended periods.Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.Performance ExpectationsAchieve leasing and occupancy goals.Maintain accurate and compliant workforce housing files.Provide an exceptional leasing experience for prospects and residents.Ensure timely application processing and lease execution.Promote resident retention through outstanding customer service and follow-up.Benefits as a TRGM Employee:Base Salary + Performance Bonus.Medical, dental, vision, legal services, flexible spending account, and commuter benefits.The benefits package includes 100 percent employer-paid life and disability insurance.Employer Matching 401kEmployee Engagement and Wellness programs.Company-paid PTOOpportunities for Professional Development and Tuition Reimbursement.TRG Management is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.We are a Drug-Free Workplace. #J-18808-Ljbffr
