Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our outpatient office in New Windsor, NY, where you will enjoy a predictable Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM. With a manageable caseload of 6 to 7 patients per day, our therapists can focus on providing quality care without feeling overwhelmed.

Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for the following:

• Conducting thorough physical assessments to identify patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans that facilitate recovery.
• Implementing hands-on therapy techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic modalities, to enhance patient mobility and physical function.
• Designing customized exercise regimens that encourage patient engagement and self-management for their rehabilitation journey.
• Offering education on injury prevention, proper body mechanics, and strategies for maintaining long-term health and wellness.
• Documenting patient progress meticulously and making evidence-based adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, coordinating treatment across disciplines as necessary.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Active New York state licensure as a Physical Therapist.

Preferred Experience
