Work Environment

Our clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, fostering a balanced work-life experience for our employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients to determine their physical therapy needs and set achievable rehabilitation goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing a combination of manual therapy techniques and exercise-based interventions tailored to each patient's condition.
• Educate patients on efficient techniques for injury prevention, rehabilitation strategies, and methods to enhance mobility and functional independence.
• Monitor and document patient progress throughout the rehabilitation process, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
• Proactively communicate with patients and their families to ensure understanding of therapy objectives, treatment modalities, and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including physicians and occupational therapists, to optimize patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Sustain Recovery Rehab Center, you will work primarily with a diverse adult population facing a variety of challenges, including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and mobility impairments. You will develop the ability to customize treatment approaches to meet the unique needs of each individual, enhancing their pathway toward recovery and improved quality of life.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapist license to practice in New York State is required.
• A bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; candidates with a Master's or Doctorate in the field are highly encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits
