Work Environment

This position is located onsite at our rehabilitation center. The workplace is designed to promote collaboration among staff while offering a warm, welcoming space for patients. The schedule for this role is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition, mobility, and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop customized treatment plans that address each patient's specific rehabilitation goals, using data-driven methodologies to ensure effectiveness.
• Implement hands-on therapy techniques, including manual therapy and mobility training, to enhance patient recovery.
• Educate and motivate patients about their conditions, therapy goals, and self-management strategies to promote active involvement in their recovery process.
• Document progress in patient records rigorously to meet compliance and enhance communication within the care team.
• Actively collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including occupational therapists, social workers, and physicians to facilitate comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with the latest therapeutic techniques and industry best practices.

Our center caters primarily to individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, neuromuscular conditions, and chronic pain syndromes. Qualifications

• Must hold a valid New York State license as a Physical Therapist.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; advanced degrees (Master's or Doctorate) are strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
