Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite at our dedicated rehabilitation facility, which is outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment and therapy spaces designed to facilitate effective treatment. Our structured environment allows you to work comfortably Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a work-life balance that is crucial in the healthcare profession. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual assessments for approximately seven patients each day, developing personalized therapy plans that align with their rehabilitation goals.
• Administer evidence-based physical therapy interventions, utilizing various modalities and therapeutic exercises to enhance mobility, strength, and coordination.
• Educate patients and their families about therapy progress and impart knowledge regarding treatment plans, strategies, and home exercise programs.
• Work closely with fellow healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses, to create and implement comprehensive care plans that ensure seamless patient experiences.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions, treatment sessions, and progress reports in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a part of our rehabilitation team, you will work primarily with adults recovering from various conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, neurological disorders, orthopedic injuries, and chronic pain management. Our patient population is diverse, necessitating adaptability and personalized care approaches to meet their unique needs effectively.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New York.
• A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably within a rehabilitation or skilled nursing environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with a variety of physical therapy techniques and modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and electrotherapy.
• Experience working with geriatric patients and those with complex medical histories is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
