Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite in our Montgomery clinic, where you will engage directly with patients in a comfortable and collaborative setting. Our structured workplace fosters a manageable caseload of 6 to 8 patients per day, allowing for focused, individualized treatment. Key Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough and detailed patient evaluations to assess functional capabilities, establish baselines, and identify impairments.
• Designing and implementing tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices, including manual therapy and exercise techniques.
• Monitoring patient progress and modifying treatment strategies as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educating patients and their families on injury prevention strategies, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications that support sustained health.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals and participating in interdisciplinary meetings to enhance patient care.
• Documenting all patient interactions and progress in accordance with state and federal regulations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, acute and chronic pain conditions, and other musculoskeletal issues. Our approach prioritizes understanding each patient's unique circumstances, creating a supportive environment that encourages engagement and empowerment in their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

The successful applicant must possess:

• An active New York State Physical Therapist license.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, with a Master's or Doctorate preferred.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
