Work Environment

The clinic operates from Monday through Friday, between 8 AM and 4 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule for our staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical judgment to develop personalized treatment plans that address individual needs and goals.
• Implement and adjust treatment strategies that include manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient education, focusing on restoring function and improving mobility.
• Educate patients on methods to prevent injuries and enhance movement efficiency, ensuring they understand their conditions and how to manage them effectively.
• Document all patient interactions and outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations, ensuring that all necessary paperwork is accurate and timely.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and physicians, to provide cohesive care that addresses all aspects of a patient's rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with outpatient adults dealing with a range of orthopedic conditions, post-operative rehabilitation needs, and chronic pain issues. The diverse client population allows you to address various physical therapy challenges and contribute positively to the lives of individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, and other physical limitations.

Qualifications

• Valid New York Physical Therapist license is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is mandatory; a Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and their families.
• Proficient in evaluation techniques and therapeutic modalities.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing Physical Therapist is required, specifically in an outpatient clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits
