Our client is seeking a hands-on Controls Engineer who is ready to bring their automation expertise, troubleshooting skills, and passion for advanced manufacturing to an innovative engineering team.
What you'll be doing...
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment and automation systems.
- Support Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) and fleet management technologies.
- Diagnose controls issues using Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLCs.
- Assist with robotics, cobot, and vision system integration.
- Commission new automation equipment and support production launches.
- Partner with production, maintenance, and materials teams to maximize uptime and efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience with Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley PLCs.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in manufacturing automation.
- Experience with robotics, HMIs, or industrial vision systems is a plus.
- A hands-on mindset and the ability to thrive on the production floor.
- Work with cutting-edge AMRs, robotics, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
- Become a subject matter expert in next-generation manufacturing automation.
